Nasty C collaborated with AKA and K.O on the 2016 single but refused to shoot a music video with the rappers. At the time, K.O shared his disappointment at the decision but would not reveal the reasons for it.
Seven months after Nasty C's decision sent shockwaves across the industry, the rapper revealed that he chose not to be in the video because he did not like the song.

"I wasn't happy with the song. I wasn't happy with the song because I didn't like the beat," Nasty C told Slikour in an interview this week.
He said that the track was "wasted" and set up more like a rap battle than a song you would enjoy listening to.
"People anticipated it for so long. We shouldn't have wasted it like that . That song doesn't even sound like something you would listen to, to enjoy, it sounds like the three of us were put into a ring and we had to out rap each other," Nasty C said.

The rapper said that he went into studio with no lines prepared because he hoped to convince the other artists to change the song. Sadly, they didn't agree and Nasty decided to pull out of the video.
